KBSA - Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association

Recognising excellence

10 April 2012

How do you feel about awards? A waste of time maybe? A bit of backslapping between friends, or something more valuable with a real tangible core behind it?

Here at the KBSA, we are very firmly in the latter camp. As an organisation that bases our membership on professionalism, knowledge and good practice, we’ve seen countless members recently win prestigious titles from many quarters.

It’s commonly known that a recognisable award or title generates great PR and is a great selling tool as it generates more confidence into clients. Diane Berry from Diane Berry Kitchens is a great example. She won two awards last year, and received huge amounts of PR in local papers and magazines. She still gets regular visits from people on the strength of this, and is having a spectacularly busy 2012.

We would therefore encourage all members to enter the new KBSA Designer of the Year Awards.  Entry is open EXCLUSIVELY to KBSA retailer designers, and will result in the overall winner enjoying a 2-day trip to Switzerland, courtesy of V-ZUG, and an invitation to this year’s AGM & networking dinner on 11th September 2012 to receive the Award and subsequent press coverage that will follow.

Visit the KBSA website for full details.
