We offer three different categories of membership, these are; Retail, Probationary (retailers only) and Corporate - to determine which membership type best suits your company please read the following before proceeding to step 2:

Retail Membership

Full member: If you would like to be considered for full retail membership of the KBSA, your company must meet the following requirements:

Take no more than 25% deposit
Have a fully fitted showroom with permanent displays
Offer a full display, design and supply service, take responsibility for installation
Have been trading for at least 2 years
Have a financially sound business
Have registered to the KBSA’s ConsumerCare Plus Insurance Scheme
Operate within scope of Consumer Complaints Service
Operate within the terms of the KBSA Code of Practice

Retail Application Pack

Probationary Member

All kitchen, bedroom and bathroom independent retailers who fulfil the KBSA membership criteria (apart from the 2 years accounts ruling) are now welcome to join as ‘Probationary Members’. Each application will be vetted in the normal manner.

On successful vetting, the Probationary Member will be entitled to a number of the KBSA benefits but, understandably, some benefits will not be available during the Probationary Membership including the KBSA ConsumerCare, this will continue to be offered only by full KBSA members.

Corporate Membership

If you would like to be considered for KBSA corporate membership your company must meet the following KBSA requirements:

Must supply into the UK kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or home office market
Annual t/o in excess of £500,000
Have been trading for at least 1 year
Have a financially sound business
Agree to promote benefits of KBSA retail membership to own dealers (if applicable)
Agree to send representation to at least 1 regional meeting per year
