Dec '15

The Kbsa are pleased to announce that Uwe Hanneck will be working with the organisation in a consultant capacity to formulate a long term strategy which will ensure the KBSA has all the necessary tools to move forward to grow as a trade association and strengthen the competitiveness of its members.

Uwe’s prime focus will be to review the current Kbsa proposition and its position in the kitchen retail market to ensure the Kbsa is fit for purpose and maintains its relevance in order to support the independent specialist.Uwe’s appointment follows the recent retirement of Graham Ball, CEO Kbsa earlier in the summer of 2015.

Richard Hibbert, Kbsa Board member commented ‘The Board are delighted that Uwe has agreed to take up the challenge and work with the Kbsa. Following Graham’s departure we were presented with an opportunity to look at what we do and how we remain relevant to the independent specialist and with Uwe’s experience and background, he was the ideal choice to head up this project.’

The CEO position will be revisited once the strategy is agreed, as the CEO role will be vital in implementing the plan.
