The Kbsa was delighted to lend its support at an open day for kitchen retailers organised by corporate member Omega PLC.

Businesses from across Yorkshire attended the regional event at Omega’s purpose-built manufacturing complex in Thorne, near Doncaster.

Hosted by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration, the event gave retailers insight into the Omega business, including a multi-million-pound investment in manufacturing and warehousing. Guests were also able to tour Omega’s impressive showrooms and production facilities.

Kbsa corporate chairman Malcolm Scott said: “Omega’s regional open day was a resounding success and gave us a chance to chat informally with current and potential Kbsa members.

“Like all guests, we were interested to hear more about the company’s expansion plans, which will see its single-site manufacturing capability increase to 400,000 sq. ft. by October this year.”

Omega PLC has been a specialist in the design, manufacture and marketing of high quality fitted kitchens and furniture since 1996. Its four brands – English Rose (formerly Omega), Chippendale, Sheraton and Mackintosh – are designed to appeal to specific consumer tastes and budgets
