KBSA - Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association

KBSA experts at Grand Designs Live - NEC Birmingham, 10-12 October 2008

24 October 2008

The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) has once again attended the Grand Designs Live Exhibition in Birmingham, offering advice and tips on making over the home.

The KBSA was situated in the Design Centre and KBSA retail member Mark Winstanley from Wentworth Kitchens, Colchester was on hand to answer visitors’ questions on behalf of the Association, as part of the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom ‘ask an expert’ feature.

Hundreds of copies of the KBSA’s official magazine ‘The Specialist’ were handed out to consumers throughout the exhibition along with many other items of marketing material including the KBSA’s Buyers’ Handbook, postcards and flyers. The profile of the KBSA was also enhanced with an advertorial in the kitchen supplement of the Grand Designs magazine which was on sale throughout the show.

Ruth Ward, KBSA sales and marketing director comments: “With the present state of the housing market, more and more people are choosing to update the home that they currently own instead of moving up the property ladder. Our literature proved extremely popular as it guides consumers on how to safely maximise their investment when planning in a new kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or home office.”

The KBSA also ran a consumer survey at the show, asking visitors their views and opinions on kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and home office retailers and manufacturers. Corporate member Corian provided ten chopping boards as prizes.

Grand Design Live ran from Friday 10 – Sunday 12 October.
