The KBSA (Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom Specialists Association) has taken part in a regional radio programme offering advice to consumers on buying a kitchen.
Malcolm Scott of Swift Electrical, corporate chairman of the KBSA, was on hand on the Stuart Linnell show on BBC Radio Northampton, with tips and advice on choosing the right kitchen retailer.
A number of listeners called in with problems during the show and Malcolm assisted with advice; also informing people to ensure they use a reputable retailer, who has their own showroom, to avoid the pitfalls and problems that can occur.
Malcolm comments: “It was fantastic to have the opportunity to communicate so directly the KBSA message that consumers really should do their homework and choose a reputable retailer if they want to invest their money wisely.
“This radio show was part of our targeted consumer campaign to educate more people about the benefits of using a KBSA member. Our consumer campaign for 2010 includes two new consumer exhibitions to add to Grand Designs and the National Homebuilding and Renovating shows. We also have a full programme of editorial activities and an updated and improved Specialist magazine, which will be launched in April.”
