New helpline announced for KBSA members

The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) has launched its new technical helpline service from NAPIT which provides immediate, relevant and up to date advice for its members.

NAPIT Chief Executive John Andrews announced the initiative at the recent AGM, which includes a dedicated technical support helpline to advise members on technical issues such as Part P of the Building Regulations, the new Electrical Wiring Regulations as well as other relevant areas. NAPIT will also provide the KBSA with a political reporting service and a voice on a number of central government consultation working parties that affect the KBB industry.

The KBSA/NAPIT helpline will also provide an on-the-spot reply to technical queries when a retailer has an immediate problem on site.

Graham Ball, CEO of the KBSA explains: “The NAPIT service illustrates the KBSA’s commitment to providing its retailers with practical support and advice that will help them run their businesses more effectively and save money.  This is , especially important during  a market slowdown  when consumers are spending less on home  improvements and the Government is  adding more pressure with a continual stream of new legislation and more red tape.

“This latest initiative follows two others that we have recently announced, a  unique business support package for bedrooms and a member’s benefit package with great money saving deals  on top brand appliances.  We have others in development and hope to release more  details at our autumn regional meetings .”
