The clients are young professionals with two children who recently purchased their forever home which was in a need of a total refurb. They had visited several retailers who failed to interpret their brief. Retailers either showed what they thought would work, ignoring their requests, or delivered exactly what the client asked for, resulting in an uninspiring kitchen.

Original brief: Earthy, stylish with great storage and accessibility. A multitasking space so that they could be together whilst cooking and working. An inviting space to spend time and cook fresh meals. Increase natural light.

Ashford Kitchens and Interiors Ltd (Farnham Common)

The kitchen was the main part of a 3-meter extension, to create a large living and dining space. The vision from the start was to design an area that would be practical for everyday life as the clients cook a lot and spend most of their time in the kitchen. Additionally, it needed to be something that works for hosting and of course, look the part.
