To optimise storage space, I designed floor to ceiling wardrobes on both available walls.

One of the more technically challenging aspects of this design was to conceal the entrance to the ensuite. I decided it was an important feature to achieve the clean, uncluttered aesthetic requested by the client. Every available space was utilised, with a shelf added above the walkway for blankets and towels and robe hooks fitted to the right.

To achieve a sophisticated room inspired by luxury hotels, I recommended an elegant regency style hinged door for the main wardrobe. The ornate regency style doors are in smooth cashmere finish with satin brass handles adding warmth and opulence to the room.

On the adjacent wall I designed a Crittall style, sliding door wardrobe. Made from black, thin, aluminium frames with silver mirrored panels. This modern wardrobe offers a practical solution to the lack of space on this side of the room to open hinged doors.

The juxtaposition of the modern, minimalist Crittall style sliding wardrobe with the ornate regency style doors gave the room an eclectic style. To incorporate aspects of the hinged wardrobe the internal furniture is cashmere with satin brass handles.

The beside tables and tall chest of drawers are in a black wood grain effect, complimenting the Crittall style wardrobe doors. Satin brass rear fixed handles and satin brass hair pin legs matched the opulence of the hinged wardrobe. Utilising hair pin legs for the bedside tables and chest of drawers allowed for more of the floor to be visible, making the room feel more spacious.

Inside the wardrobes I provided tailor made areas for the clients’ specific storage needs, helping her to stay organised and keep the space clear and uncluttered.
