Jul '23
Callerton, renews its commitment to the power of knowledge by launching a revamped Dealer Training Programme. Tom Wood, Callerton's Customer Experience Manager, masterminded the updated initiative, leveraging over 40 years of industry expertise to create a dynamic learning journey that delivers not just increased proficiency but also tangible business results.

"Knowledge is Power", proclaims Wood, shedding light on the driving principle behind the programme. "Grasping the tools and knowing how to deploy them are two sides of the same coin, and this understanding only comes to life through active and ongoing education."

The programme contains 12 comprehensive modules, including insights into the Design-Led Kitchen Specialist Retail Operation, understanding the diverse Callerton product portfolio, surveying techniques, design specifications, project management, installation and more. It is an amalgamation of online and offline activities, including exclusive sessions at our purpose-built training suite. Founded with a flexibility in timescale that fits different workloads and skill levels, enabling participants to proficiently design, specify, code, cost, and order the kitchen furniture element of a project.

The emphasis here is not solely on gaining knowledge, but on putting it to work. The reimagined programme is designed to amplify participants' aptitude to deliver quality outputs, adhere to project timelines, and manage kitchen orders seamlessly. The focus is on making every dream kitchen a tangible reality, testament to Callerton's unwavering devotion to its clients.

Reinforcing this dedication, Callerton maintains its tradition of offering in-studio 'Induction' sessions, led by Sales & Technical Manager Paul Doy. These explorative sessions equip Design Technicians and Senior Sales Designers new to Callerton with a deep-rooted understanding of Callerton’s diverse product line-up.

Yet, the journey doesn't end with the training programme. Callerton goes the extra mile by providing a host of additional resources, turning the process of designing with their products into an enjoyable, efficient, and creative experience.

A cornerstone of these resources is Callerton's extensive Digital Designer Guide, complete with concise videos that seamlessly link the product specification to designing in 'Winner Flex'. This interactive guide acts as a digital bridge, effortlessly connecting the dots between traditional learning materials and cutting-edge design technology.

Acknowledging the pivotal role that Winner plays in their business ecosystem, Callerton encourages its retailers to actively participate in 'Winner Training'. This strategic initiative enables designers to tap into the full potential of Callerton’s product portfolio and systems, maximising the benefits of CAD technology in delivering exquisite kitchen designs.

Further bolstering their offering, Callerton has curated a Winner design library, a database of projects to inspire, guide, and offer ready-to-use resources. This creative repository significantly streamlines the design process, empowering designers to harness their creativity to its fullest.

By intertwining traditional training with digital resources, Callerton equips its retail partners with the skills and knowledge to stand out in the ever-advancing kitchen industry. Callerton's continued dedication to education, coupled with an expanding suite of resources, cultivates a culture of excellence and progressive success in their partnerships.
