Kbsa Announces Head Judge for Designer Awards 2015

The Kitchen, Bathroom & Bedroom Specialists Association (Kbsa) has announced that Renee Mascari, CEO of the kbbNTG will be Head Judge for this year’s KBSA Designer Awards. Renee is a highly experienced kitchen designer, and runs her own design company, which also offer training courses in kitchen design. Ren has been on the judging panel since the Awards were relaunched in 2012.
Also on the panel for the 1st time is David Gillett, Course Leader for the inaugural FDA course at Buckinghamshire New University where the students are half way through their 1st year. The KBSA have partnered with the University to sponsor a new award – a Kitchen Concept Award exclusively for students on this inaugural course. Other Awards include a new category for Accessible/Inclusive Design – where strong market growth is forecast in the next few years.
Graham Ball, Chief Executive Officer, said ‘I am delighted that Renee has agreed to head our judging panel for the 2015 Awards, and with the initiative to support and promote the FDA course it’s a great opportunity for the students, and the University, to engage with the industry directly. Together with our ongoing support and promotion for the new Foundation Degree Course at Bucks New University, things are coming together nicely, but it does need industry to engage, and we will be working hard to achieve this.’
