The Kbsa KBB Industry Conference held at the Belfry Hotel on 09 October, was a complete sell out for the second year running and exceeded all expectations for delegates.
Kbsa national chair Richard Hibbert said, “Our speakers delivered on every level this year, providing relevant and up to the minute material that will empower our delegates to enhance excellence in their businesses.
“We listened to feedback from last year and gave more time to the big debate, and for networking. Delegates appreciated the extra time to talk with their peers and contribute to the lively discussions on the issues that matter, arising from the big debate.”
The conference was facilitated by broadcast journalist Emma Crosby, who introduced the speakers and guided the afternoon debate with Richard Hibbert.
Keynote speaker Matt Elwell gave an inspiring presentation on how to get quick wins, gain more clients and grow KBB businesses.
Other speakers included Tina Southgate on coaching, and the role of AI in design from Alan Coleman.
Richard added, “We benefited from incredible support from our main sponsors, Blum, Quooker, Neff, Fisher & Paykel, Waterline and Blanco. We had a record number of retailers in attendance, with many potential new members that we hope will progress to membership.
The conference concluded with the Kbsa Design Awards presentation hosted by Ronni Ancona.
