Retailer Focused Workshop at Kbsa ‘Staying Ahead’ Conference 20

Details of the three retailer workshops at the 2019 Kbsa Conference, AGM and Awards Dinner have been announced.

The workshops which take place on Wednesday 25 September will cover, social media, the customer journey and the future market place.

Rene Power from Vision B2B Marketing and Training will provide an interactive insight into the world of direct communication using different social media platforms.

Andrea Hillier national retail services manager at Blum will present a detailed vision into the customer journey. She will consider the most important factors within the purchasing process, including where are potential customers looking for inspiration and the relevance of augmented reality for showrooms.

Richard Hammond from Uncrowd will look at The Future Market Place. Richard has been a retailer for 34 years and is known for his retail futurology, practical approach to modern stores and a champion of great customer experiences that drive engagement and sales. He will review how retail is going to change in the long term and what effect will this have for our specialist sector.

“The workshops are designed will provide opportunities to discuss the key issues that impact on the success and profitability of a specialist retail business,” says Kbsa chair Richard Hibbert.

“The sessions will be interactive and informative.  All of our workshop hosts will provide practical tools for delegates to take back to their business.”

The Conference, AGM and Awards Dinner awards dinner takes place on Wednesday 25 September at the four star Stratford Manor Hotel with an exclusive retailer dinner on the evening before, Tuesday 24 September. Special guest Toby Rhodes will give a presentation on ‘the lost art of conversation’, after the retailer dinner.
