Such a Transformation

I am 3 months into my new kitchen now and I am very happy with it. It is such a transformation from the previous one, fatigued 1990s, that I often find myself saying 'wow' each time I walk into the new one. I chose Burbidge Classic with colours: Putty and Baltic Green. Many hours were spent in the KF showrooms making sure we got the design just right and great advice was given by the expert KF team. I wanted a 'one-stop' kitchen company as I had some building work to be done and I didn't want to be organising builders, electricians, plumbers, etc myself. And that's exactly what KF did for me – all the tradesmen came and went at the right time and there were no delays in getting the job done. KF said: 2 weeks for the builders followed by 1 week for the fitters, and that is exactly what happened. The kitchen installers did a great job fitting cabinets and shelving around an awkward sloping ceiling and window. I would certainly recommend KF kitchens to anyone.

We approached Nathan and De to design our dream kitchen in a house which we were renovating to make our home. We had already been highly recommended to KF from other family and friends which had used them and we were not disappointed ! From the initial design consultation in the showroom the whole process was seamless. We really appreciated the innovative design suggestions and desire to make the kitchen a work of art and not just a row of cabinets and appliances. Nathan and De took time to appreciate the design of the room and helped us incorporate the kitchen into the look of the home, in particular working around our solid oak beams and vaulted ceiling. As a result we now have a kitchen which truly is the heart of the home. Everything happens in our kitchen now and it is a great, warm and sociable space to entertain guests from or have a week day dinner in. The fitting team of Neil and Ross have been superb - they really took their time to ensure that everything was finished perfectly. They were respectful of our property and always cleaned up after a full day on site. We had full open communication with Mike, Rebecca and the fitting team. The personal touch with customer service from day 1 has been really impressive. Regal's product is of a clear high standard and their knowledge of Neff products was really helpful when I was deciding what appliances to go with. Their pricing was comparable to other businesses in the area and they were open and honest about the costing of all parts of the kitchen fitting process. We now have a kitchen completely different to what we envisaged due to the design produced by Elizabeth which went against the conventional, and we are so pleased with it. Consequently we gained valuable space and functionality we did not have with our previous rather tired and conventional kitchen layout.. From start to finish we new exactly what was happening, and the whole project running exactly as per schedule and without any hitches. The contractors used to undertake the work were absolutely amazing, and we could discuss what was planned and any changes with ease. The quality of work produced by them and attention to detail brought the design to life. They were also very accommodating around the work that had to be fitted in by ourselves throughout the install. Andreya got the type of kitchen we were looking for straight away, there was no hard sell or pressure at any point for us to go with Lima- which was another big factor. The team right the way through the build were brilliant, we had regular meetings and updates; Aishling made sure we knew who to expect and when. The team tidied up so well that most of the time I didn't know they had been other than more cupboards/ lights or wiring had appeared. To be 100% honest, yes there were one or two small snags at the end but again, the team have sorted these with no quibbles or problems at all, and certainly not anything that would make us change the scores at all. We popped in on a Sunday morning to get an idea of what kitchens they offered and it was "love at first sight" - the product and the people. We looked at other providers and no-one else could get near what Regal could do for us. The disruption of a full kitchen refurb was daunting but the team made sure we were kept in the loop, had everything we needed each night of the job, and did a better job of tidying than we could have imagined. The after service is the icing on the cake, having Emma the inhouse economist and Neff specialist come to our house to cook with the whole family was an brilliant experience and so useful. The fitter has been in touch to check we are still happy and the post inspection visit was so thorough. Lima Kitchens made the whole process of updating our kitchen so easy, The designer listened carefully to what we needed and cleverly made the most of quite a modest space. At every stage, we felt like we were in control and no change was ever too much bother. Communication was excellent and the project itself was so well organised. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would definitely recommend Lima Kitchens.

First Class Kitchens did a 'first class' job. It included the kitchen and the adjacent room, which both had new ceilings and were fully replastered. The whole job was project managed by them and everything happened to plan. All of the sub contractors, plasterers, electricians, fitters and floorers arrived on time and completed on time, which made the whole process really easy for us.

We only had improvements to our existing kitchen including worktops and appliances. We are really happy with every aspect of the installation. We previously had a gas hob which we were reluctant to change for an induction hob but after speaking to Dave Oxley and having a demonstration we went for the induction which has proved to be fantastic. We would highly recommend this company to any one. They are a local family business which means a lot as you get a personal touch.

We had recommendations from a number of people to contract with Mike. Mike and all staff were competent, polite and cared about what we were trying to achieve. We had approached Mike with an idea for a design but after a good chat or two Mike opened our eyes to new possibilities. Pete and Ross, who installed the kitchen were great, it was like having friends in the house rather than tradesmen. The work area was left tidy and clean at the end of each day. The kitchen wasn't cheap but then we wanted something of good quality and design that would last and that's what we got.

My kitchen is small with little natural light, and I love cooking so I wanted an out of the box design making maximum use of space. I enjoyed working with Regal on the design as John took on board my ideas to make them work, and highlighted issues as necessary. As promised, project management was evident throughout the whole process as well as the extra care taken to address limited space available around my home eg waste was removed promptly and goods delivered closer to actual day being installed. I thought the way that Janice kept me informed and checked that I was happy with progress was reassuring albeit everything was running smoothly .Andy and Ricky were the fantastic installers: I was in awe of their skills, confident in their work, appreciated their respect for my home and the way they engaged with me. Another feature that stood out were the number of visits to my home was the home design visit, the survey visit by the installation manager, the pre installation visit by the person, the installation, the post visit by the installation manager and so on. This was in marked contrast to other experience I have witnessed around kitchen and bathroom projects etc. I was dreading the renovation of my old kitchen, but choosing Regal Kitchens has turned out to be a really positive experience. I feel confident that I can rely on the company in the future, and recommend it to others. I also realise that my original kitchen never felt really completed - it was installed by a well known brand company - whereas my new kitchen has been tackled as a whole project. It feels complete from the new flooring, lighting, cupboards, etc. While the kitchen has cost a lot of money, I feel that it will prove to be value for money over time. I suspect that it has cost less than having chosen some popular brand companies where the costs were not so up front and various tradesmen would have had to be engaged separately.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Regal Kitchens. In a world where customer service has been largely lost, they really stood out to us as a company that cares and want the best outcome for their clients. The design was better than anything else we had seen, the installer was a pleasure to have at our home and they listened to our feedback throughout the process. When we saw a storage solution feature on social media that we hadn’t previously thought of, they seamlessly adapted it into the fitting process. Although my husband is tech savvy with the appliances we chose, I am definitely less so, so the fact that Regal offered a service where they taught us to use everything (such a how to cook certain items in our new ovens) and benefit from the features we’s chosen was a massive benefit. The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish.

We chose to proceed with Denmore after consulting with 4 other designers. They provided a stand-out design which gave us exactly what we wanted as well as things we didn’t know we needed! Attention to detail was fantastic. The quote was well presented and financially we felt we were getting very good value. Our project was a complex one, requiring project managing which we feel Denmore carried out well. During installation, changes needed to be made and it was no problem. Equally when there were things not working as expected, the tradesmen problem solved efficiently. After sales have also been excellent, a phone call was all that was needed to resolve snagging issues. We would highly recommend Denmore and look forward to working with them again in the future.
