Arnolds was established in July 1923, when we began manufacturing tiled fireplaces for local houses.

Since then we have grown into the multifaceted company we are today, designing and manufacturing our own brand fireplace collection, fabricating surfaces for projects nationwide and being one of the UK’s biggest bathroom product distributors. We are extremely proud of the company we are today.

Second Nature is a multi-award winning brand, from the Designer Magazine Innovation Awards through to the House Beautiful Best Kitchen Award. In 2013 we were crowned the KBSA’s best product supplier. KBSA retail members voted Second Nature as their best product supplier of the year. This award is the only one of its kind to represent the actual views of retailers who are invited to vote for their top companies as part of the KBSA’s annual supplier survey. Graham Ball, Chief Executive of the KBSA comments “This award is a genuine reflection of how suppliers in the kitchen industry perform and there was little doubt this year that Second Nature has delivered exactly what our members wanted so it’s a well-deserved award.” Our support for charity was also recognised in 2013 when Second Nature CEO, Mark Stephenson, was awarded a special ‘Hero Award’, by Help for Heroes, in recognition of his donation of seven purpose-designed self-help kitchens to two of the charity’s Recovery Centres. He has also committed to ongoing support of the charity, through regular vocational training visits to Second Nature’s head office site from residents of the Catterick Recovery Centre. Mo Usman, Help For Heroes Recovery Centre Manager said, “The Help for Heroes’ Hero Awards are not given out readily. Mark Stephenson and Second Nature were nominated and accepted for the Hero Award because of their outstanding support and contribution to Help for Heroes throughout the past year.”
