KBB Industry Conference 2024 - Empowering & Enhancing Excellence
The KBB Industry Conference 2024 will be held on Wednesday 9th October at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, West Midlands, with the popular retailer dinner being held on the evening before the conference on Tuesday 8th October.
Once again, non-members are cordially invited to attend. We are thrilled to announce that broadcaster and journalist Emma Crosby will be joining us as this year's conference facilitator.
The 'Big Debate' will once again return to the programme. Panel contributors and guest speakers will be announced shortly - watch this space for more details.
Conference facilitator: Emma Crosby
The new facilitator Emma Crosby presented Channel 5’s flagship news programme for five years and is a familiar voice on LBC radio, Sky News and CNBC.
Before anchoring 5 News, Emma co-presented the popular ITV breakfast show GMTV. Emma spent several years as presenter with Sky News, covering some of the biggest stories including the terrorist bombings of Glasgow Airport which earned her and the channel a BAFTA for best news coverage. Emma started her career as a business presenter at CNBC, broadcasting out of London and New York, and later was Sky News' business presenter during the 2008 banking crisis.
Kbsa Designer Awards Host: Ronni Ancona
Ronni Ancona first became known for her work on the BAFTA winning ‘The Big Impression’ series & specials with Alistair McGowan for which she won the British Comedy Award for Best Actress and the prestigious Variety Club Award. She also received a BAFTA for her performance in The Sketch Show which she also co-wrote. She has worked extensively in both comedy and drama such as the international hit comedy-drama, Last Tango in Halifax in which she has been a regular character, over five series. She has made many regular appearances as a panellist on QI over 10 years and has hosted Have I got News for You.
Keynote Speaker: Matt Elwell
The keynote speaker for the KBB Industry Conference 2024 will be sales trainer and coach, Matt Elwell.
Matt has 22 years’ experience as an entrepreneurial business owner and is co-founder and Director of the Elite Closing Academy. His sales career which includes kitchens, bathrooms and tiles, has ranged from cold calling to successfully negotiating multi six/seven figure contracts in the UK and America.
The Elite Closing Academy offers entrepreneurs, business owners and sales teams, training, coaching and mentoring packages, aimed at increasing sales and helping them grow their businesses.
Guest Speaker: Tina Southgate
International master coach, mentor, author and speaker Tina Southgate will present at the KBB Industry Conference 2024, which takes place on Wednesday 09 October.
Tina has a proven track record in business, developing teams; bringing innovation and excellence to the marketplace. Tina founded her own coaching business in 2006 and has helped hundreds of leaders to create and establish businesses, non-profits, and other projects, and to grow their organisation to the next level. She has coached and mentored 1000’s internationally in the UK and USA, through workshops, conferences, and training programmes.
Her work helps leaders to confidently grow beyond their perceived potential, aligning to their identity and values, as well as discovering and being activated in their strongest abilities.
Guest Speaker: Alan Coleman
Alan Coleman, National Sales Manager for the Kitchen Division at Cyncly, will deliver a presentation covering AI and the design process. He will discuss how AI is transforming design processes, look at the benefits, provide tips for how to get started with AI as a designer and conclude with a review of future trends and opportunities.
With a decade of experience in software sales and digital marketing, Alan offers insights into sales strategies and market trends.
