Mrs D was looking for value for money and had chosen to purchase this kitchen, which was designed to be a display at an exhibition, before being transferred to her home.  We were able to incorporate the requirements of her home and she was delighted with the colours and finishes that we had chosen to showcase at the exhibition.

The black/blue colour scheme takes on different hues when the light changes and is complemented by the textured copper of the tall units.

Whilst looking for value for money, Mrs D did not want to compromise on the design and was still looking for some special touches.  We added in the striking deep, (100mm) breakfast bar to the island, providing more space for socialising and creating a stunning feature.  The innovative bottle chiller in the worktop keeps drinks perfectly chilled once you've opened the bottle and is well used by the family for water and juices as well as bottles of wine.

The building work had progressed to a stage where it was impossible to add in ducting for extraction, so we included vented hobs and made a feature out of the bulkhead with a beautiful statement light.

Mrs D has two ovens and both have a meat probe, a requirement for her daughter who is nervous about cooking meat correctly at the right temperature.

There is a floating storage section, built out of warm wood that sits beside the island, creating a convenient place to store drink related items such as glasses.
