The kitchen dining room already existed but the client wanted the living space opening up to create a better flow. Kitchen materials where to be incorporated between the rooms to give consistency throughout, artificial lighting was a key point due to the garden facing north east.

Our client wanted to renovate their home including an extension and new kitchen. They wanted an industrial, modern kitchen which would be open plan having a snug area and dining area. They wanted a utility space in the room and a larder unit.

The Dearden’s have one five year old son and they are in their early forties, their business is air conditioning and have managed to develop a couple of properties over the years to have a clear understanding of what their wish list was. They wanted a hidden breakfast area where the mess the small appliances could be hidden coffee machine toaster etc. It was also important to showcase a bespoke wine store that would be cooled with their air con system and be able to show future potential clients how this can be achieved at similar cost to a luxury wine fridge.

Lisa and David are probably the coolest customers I have ever met, as soon as I saw Lisa strut into the showroom with a leopard print fur coat and gold trainers I knew we would get along perfectly. The couple had recently relocated from outside London and purchased a beautiful rectory which had been spilt into two dwellings. Their new home needed a full renovation as the previous owner had not changed the property since the 60s.
