We were commissioned to design a kitchen within a beautiful period property that has been tastefully extended over recent years. Despite the property’s considerable size and the kitchen’s Southeast facing windows, the kitchen was very dark with little natural light due to the window’s restrictive small glass panes.

Our clients came to us wanting a design that would be the centrepiece for their new kitchen extension. They were moving the existing kitchen to the back of the house and creating a large open plan kitchen/diner/family space.

The furniture style was ‘In-Frame’ the carcass is constructed with solid oak frame drawing reference to traditional style of cabinetry but modernised with a flat slab door, with the door being made from an oak veneer and solid lipped edge to create a more contemporary aesthetic.
