The Membership Director visits each prospective member showroom to check for evidence of high standards being attained in terms of design, install and supply. KBSA is the only trade association in this industry to encompass the full project lifecycle and to insist on this level of quality.

Each company is vetted by the CFO to check their financial stability which is also reviewed annually.

As part of the application process several customers of the prospective member are approached for references. These are independently verified.

Members are regularly monitored to ensure that they continue to meet KBSA expectations.

As a TrustMark scheme provider, KBSA is required to inspect all members every 3 years, which includes Insurance, Health & Safety and other compliance. We also operate our own internal auditing processes as part of KBSA governance.
