Mr & Mrs Stock are a young couple with a baby and were having an extension carried out to create a lovely large kitchen dining area, which would bring in a lot of light through bi-folding doors and skylights.

They were drawn to the midnight blue and keen to have the copper handles as they wanted to accessorise with other copper features. Their main priority was to have plenty of oven space to be able to cope with cooking for their family of three and extended family members. Another priority was to have a tall fridge and freezer as they freeze a lot of food for the baby and pre-cook meals for the whole family.

They wanted to increase the amount of worktop they had and maximise the storage. The island worktop was kept clear to maximise prep space and give a nice area to sit at the stools for guests or for breakfast.

The customers wanted a sleek design with minimal drawer lines and hidden extractor within the wall cupboards. The modern design is inviting with warm features and allows this to be a great social space for gatherings.

The broken U-shape is a lovely detail, which helps to break up areas and prevent the kitchen looking too heavy.
