Jul '19

This year’s shortlist of finalists for the Kbsa Designer Awards has been reviewed by the judging panel that met in London to determine the 2019 winners.

Head judge Ainhoa Bilbao of Bulthaup praised all of the shortlist for their imaginative, creative and innovative designs. She said, “The standard of entries was extremely high this year, making the judging very close.”

Ainhoa was joined by Martin Gill, managing director at And So To Bed Ltd; Adrian Stoneham, managing director at Stoneham Kitchens; Keith Myers founder of The Myers Touch; Craig Matson, managing director of Roundhouse Design and chairman of The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET) and Andrea Hillier, national retail services manager, Blum UK. Richard Hibbert, national chairman Kbsa hosted the meeting.

The meeting was very kindly hosted by Smeg at their flagship store in London.

The winners will be announced at the Kbsa AGM Conference and Networking Dinner on Wednesday 25 September at the Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon. This was a sell-out event last year so early booking is advised. Those wishing for further details or to secure tables should contact the Kbsa office on info@kbsa.org.uk
