KBSA launch 2014 Design Awards 17

The KBSA has launched the 2014 Design awards with the introduction of a second Concept Design Award; a Bathroom Concept Design Award has been added alongside the Kitchen Concept Design award which proved to be popular last year. The Concept awards have been introduced to test a designer’s skill in working to a specific brief in an average size kitchen or bathroom and are based on briefs for typical family rooms that still warrant an inspirational design despite the limitations on space.

  “We are delighted to have extended this new category and hope that many of our members will rise to the challenge and show that they can offer the excellence they are renowned for - whatever the brief,” says Graham Ball, CEO of the KBSA.

  The brief for the Concept Designer of the Year Award outlines details of a couple in their first home and what they hope to achieve from their new kitchen and bathroom. Entrants are asked to submit a CAD design in response to the brief.

  All winners will receive an engraved trophy and winners’ certificate and will be invited to the KBSA AGM on 23rd September 2014 and receive their awards at the Networking & Awards presentation dinner that evening, followed by overnight accommodation.

  Entries can be sent electronically this year as well as posted with a deadline of 31 May 2014.
