The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association, Kbsa has been awarded the prestigious Special Achievement Award at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2018.

This award was made at the glittering awards dinner held in Birmingham on 05 March and was presented by Martin Mongan UK MD at Hansgrohe, the sponsor of the award, the host Miles Jupp and Andrew Davies, Managing Editor of kbbreview.

The Special Achievement Award is chosen by the editorial team of kbbreview and goes to an outstanding individual or organisation that has made a significant contribution to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.

“We are absolutely stunned and delighted to receive this award,” says Kbsa national chair Richard Hibbert.  “It is an honour that the Kbsa has been recognised in this way, by the industry, in our 40th year.

“It really is a collective award for all our members and reflects the efforts of those that have dedicated so much energy and passion to the Kbsa over the last 40 years.

“We have a very exciting year planned to celebrate our 40th anniversary and there has never been a better time to be a Kbsa member. We have a range of discounts on membership and tickets for the annual conference that were very popular at KBB and these are still available for a limited time only.”

New retail members can save as much as 40% on the cost of joining the Kbsa and more if they book for the 2018 conference at the same time.  Existing members can save up to 50% on a range of special ‘Early Bird’ prices for booking the 2018 conference and awards dinner.

A new foundation membership has also been launched for new retail businesses, enabling them to access Kbsa support and benefits as they grow their businesses.

“We are confident that 2018 will be a good year for Kbsa, the only UK trade association truly representing the independent retail sector of the KBB industry,” concludes Richard.
