New Directors And Corporate Chair Appointment At Kbsa Agm 20

The 2022 AGM which was held virtually on Wednesday 07 December was opened with a welcome from Richard Hibbert, Kbsa National Chair, followed by a Kbsa update including a review of the year, outlook for 2022/23 and the 5 year strategy. The AGM was concluded with the formal business and all resolutions were duly passed.

 

During the meeting the Kbsa appointed two new directors and a new Corporate Chair. 

Keith Myers, The Myers Touch, was voted in as the Regional Chair for South/South East and Heath Everett, from H Everett Interiors, Cornwall was voted as Regional chair for Wales/South West.

These join Richard Hibbert, The Kitchen Showroom Ltd, Chair and Regional Chair for South/Home Counties, Keith Wilson, Perth Kitchen Centre, Regional Chair for Scotland, Mark Butler, Butler Interiors, Regional Chair North Midlands/North West, Angela Bower, Bower Willis Designs Ltd, Regional Chair West Midlands/Central, Arron Bird, Anglia Interiors Ltd, Regional Chair East Midlands/Central and Caroline Cooper, Roman Bathroom & Tile Centre Ltd, Bathroom Retail Category Chair.

Heath said, “I am delighted to join the Kbsa board.  I am looking forward to contributing and giving something back to the industry that has given me so much over the last 25 years.

“It is important that KBB retailers have a voice both nationally and regionally here in the South West. The Kbsa brings the industry together and has a vital role to play in supporting and representing our interest and I am honoured to have the opportunity to contribute.”

Owain Harrison, Novy Ltd has taken on the role of Corporate Chair, following the appointment of former corporate chair Malcolm Scott as Retail & Corporate Membership Director.

Owain said, “I am delighted to be involved in the association, my overall ambitions are to continue the work of Malcolm working with the membership and the management team to collate our corporate membership into higher levels of involvement with the association and its members. I am very proud to be continuing the work of my predecessors and look forward to continuing the success of the Kbsa.”
