The Kbsa has welcomed Keith Wilson onto the board to represent members’ interests in Scotland.

Keith is the owner of Perth Kitchen Centre, Scotland’s longest established independent kitchen specialist. Perth Kitchen Centre (est 1975) has been a member of the Kbsa since 1983 and Keith has been involved in the KBB industry for 25 years. He has broad experience that covers distribution, supply, design and sales, giving him an in-depth knowledge of how the industry works.

Keith said, “I am delighted to be part of the Kbsa board and look forward to making the association more relevant to members in Scotland.

“I want to help communicate how the association has changed and why every quality independent retailer should become involved.  We are operating at a time of economic and political uncertainties, which makes consumers cautious.  The Kbsa badge enables retailers to build trust and provide peace of mind for customers by letting them know they are dealing with a reputable business.

“We have plans to introduce opportunities for like-minded retailers to meet, share best practice and network, details of these meetings will be announced soon.”

Acting CEO Uwe Hanneck added, “Keith will be a valuable addition to the board as we drive forward our ambitious plans for growth.

“We remain committed to delivering value and benefits for our retail members, which will directly impact on the success of their businesses.”
