“A professional retailer requires a deposit to maintain cash flow and enables their business to run smoothly & profitable, The deposit ceiling which KBSA members adhere to is 25%, (Trustmark’s criteria is the same) and this area of deposit is standard amongst specialist retailers. I would argue that the taking of a reasonable deposit and the process of taking a customer through the insurance process illustrates that the retailer is professional”
