Since opening her own ALNO studio in 2002, Diane Berry has built up a reputation for an efficient, personal service and a professional level of installation which includes design consultancy and project management for all aspects of the installation.
Diane and Emma are award winning designers and both have a passion for creative design with professional service. They offer a wealth of experience in kitchen ergonomics and design.
When working with the Diane Berry Kitchens team the process from designing to installing your new kitchen will be as follows:
Design brief: Our skilled designers will get to know all your requirements and wishes by chatting about your lifestyle and aspirations for your new kitchen. We talk about furniture, appliances, work surfaces, lighting and colour, along with things you will not be expecting like your height, mobility limitations and pets. All these help us to understand your needs.
Survey: One of our designers will visit your home to take a detailed survey and snap shots of the space to fully understand the room you have now whilst accurately detailing the dimensions and positions of all services. We will discuss the sunlight and note views as all these details help us to get the design right. The home visit is very important as we can absorb lots of lifestyle information to understand if the family needs to consider other aspects like a space for shoes and coats. Often a simple detail can be the difference between getting it right or wrong.
Create: This is where your desires and our skills come together. Our award winning designers consider the information gathered in great detail and use their professional expertise to create a design proposal to capture every aspect of the brief. Our attention to detail is key to creating the very best kitchen for you.
You will then be invited back to the studio to spend time viewing the design and discussing the concept for your room in detail. Our full colour computer generated images help us to show you our thoughts for your space. Estimates will also be presented at this stage to help you see if we are going to come within your budget.
We may require several further meetings to fine tune all the detail.
Install: Our installation team offer a complete fitting service which can include all preparatory plumbing, plastering, electric, gas and joinery work.
Your kitchen furniture and components will be collated and delivered direct from our own warehouse ensuring a quality of care that is second to none.
On the agreed installation date, our professionally trained team will arrive in liveried vans ready for work. “State of the art” modern tooling combined with good old fashioned craftmenship guarantees the standard of workmanship will be to your satisfaction. Each fitter takes real pride in their work and will treat your home as if it were their very own.
Project Management: We will produce technical drawings for all trades including electrical, plumbing and ventilation, liaising closely with architects and other contractors to make sure the site is prepared correctly – ensuring a smooth installation.
We will oversee every aspect of your project ensuring the best quality craftsmanship and advice is delivered with the least disruption to your home
We have years of experience planning and managing renovations, we know all the pitfalls and all the best people to call upon to help. We meticulously plan and manage every last detail, keeping you up-to-speed on progress and minimising the impact, as much as possible, on your day-to-day life.
After sales support & warranty: Once you invest in a Diane Berry kitchen you become a life-long member of our family. Our customers receive regular invites to exclusive events – including cooking demonstrations and charity functions – which are held at our showroom.
We offer a five year warranty on all of our kitchen furniture, as well as a two year European warranty on all appliances. In addition to this, we are always on hand to pay a visit to you home in the rare event of a fault and lend our expertise whether you are a new customer or have had your Diane Berry kitchen for many years.
In 2013 we were runner up in a National Customer Service Award. Our sights are set on the number one position this year so you are in good hands.
